How to update your Nokia Lumia 710 to 121xx

We show you how to get the Nokia Lumia 710 to the latest version of Windows Phone 7 which includes Wi-Fi Hotspot

The Lumia 710 was released shortly after the Lumia 800 and was a part of the first generation Windows Phone OS devices by Nokia.
The new update includes Wi-Fi Hotspot capability that Nokia promised consumers and DLNA media sharing.

• Identify if you need to update your Lumia 710

1. Go to ‘Settings' and select ‘about'
2. Click on ‘more information'
3. Check the firmware number and if the last five numbers are not 121xx you should update your device

•  Download Zune software for windows or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac on your computer.

• Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable

• Start the Zune software or Windows Phone 7 Connector and follow the instructions shown
